Folks can sit quietly with an advocate if they would like a chill space to retreat to, and they are also invited to share what’s come up for them, and can receive support with any problem solving/option brainstorming, if they would like.

  • API Chaya advocates are mandated reporters

  • If you are not able to leave your location, please flag down anyone with a staff badge and they will ask de-escalation folks to come to you
